A is for A Positive Attitude…

Welcome to your daily dose of inspiration:
In Darkness Be Light

Since social media and news in recent times has been filled with so much hate and negativity, these simple reminders aim at promoting positivity and lightening up your day.

A positive attitude causes a chain reaction of positive thoughts, events and outcomes. It is a catalyst and it sparks extraordinary results. Wade Boggs

Would you like to be a part of spreading positivity? Check out the We Are The World Blogfest, a monthly blogfest which aims at promoting positive news. Here’s the shortened version:

  • Keep your post to below 500 words, as much as possible.
  • All we ask is you link to a human news story on your blog on the last Friday of each month, one that shows love, humanity, and brotherhood. Something like this news, about a man who only fosters terminally ill children.
  • Join us on the last Friday of each month in sharing news.

Hi Michelle – the WATWB hosts had an amazing idea – and the word is getting around. We need to spread light and happiness – a smile will open eyes to others … just the small things can tip the balance sometimes … being positive is a definite plus in life.

Cheers to you and all participants of the A-Z and the WATWB … Hilary

I loved this idea but sadly had too much on my plate to participate in this and the A to Z Challenge. Next month hopefully.

Could surly use some of that in my life right now! Thanks!
Have it on the sidebar of my blog! Good luck!

Nature abhors a vacuum, so the glass is always full – a mix of beverage and air. I’m always looking to see what kind of beverage – coffee or wine will do me fine 🙂 Seriously though, just grateful there’s an unbroken glass to drink from, so many people right now have none or chipped or leaky…

Best wishes for the hop and A-Z, Michelle

    Hi, MIchelle,
I wondered if it was sane to do the A-Z this year, but we’ll see.
My A topic is attitude too. Wanted to do the blogfest yesterday, but time did not permit.

The world would be a different place if we all had this attitude. I look forward to your posts brightening up April!

It doesn’t take all that much effort to smile at life. It’s more habit than drudgery. Of course, then you’re accused of being Pollyanna.

I saw this happen on Facebook in the u.s. as all us tried to understand what was going on in the election. I kept trying to spin a positive take on things but struggle as I might just couldn’t. An awful time and I had to block a couple of readers with foul language. I love your emphasis on positive news. We could all use it. I tried this one time on my blog and reported my local paper’s take on positive news. I was surprised at how deep into the pages I had to go. Negative news sells, positive goes to the middle pages. Interesting post!

It certainly beats a negative attitude. Nothing great ever comes from that.

It’s much easier to keep going with a positive attitiude.

These days I welcome positivity. I agree. There is just too much hate going on. Thanks for bringing the positivity.

I swore I commented on this post. Maybe it got stuck in spam. That happens A LOT this month. ><

Great idea, if I weren’t already overloaded with the A-Z plus a book deadline by the end of the month, I’d join in.

Yes, A Positive Attitude can start a chain reaction. I think #WATWB is proof that one person can connect with another and so on. An idea was sparked, people were gathered, and a Blogfest was born, now others are becoming part of it or wish to join. May the positive attitude continue.

I’m not negative, but I will admit that I have to work real hard and seeing the bright side. No matter the situation, even if you have to fake it, being positive always ends up better.
