Bluebell SSS Prompt No. 1 ~ Up & Away

It is the perfect gift
Rising up into the sky
Suspended above the earth
The travellers soak up the atmosphere
At one with the elements of
Earth , wind and fire
As they float over the countryside
Weightless … soundless …
Adjust the blindfold
Prepare for the surprise of a lifetime
And a few minutes later
As gravity beckons
The slow descent to terra firma
Carefully , remove the blindfold
A perfect aerial view
Where row upon row
Of her beloved grade threes
Stand erect , in perfect harmony
To offer the ultimate gift
MARRY ME !

So sweet, Mish.  I think that there have been some proposals on hot air balloons.  They seem to have a real feeling of romance about them.  Really like your poem on the prompt.

Thanks Bodhirose ~ I think that a hot air balloon goes hand-in-hand with romance and surprises …
