Name and Shame campaigns/websites are popping up all over the world , in an effort to expose that person , group or business who are guilty of conning and cheating ; swindling and scamming or deceiving and duping the public .

So if you have ever been a victim and suffered at the hands of dodgy dudes , unscrupulous business dealers or dishonest individuals ,  there's something you can do about it .

This campaign is used to discourage anti-social and criminal activities by publishing the names of those involved and has even been extended to NGO's and governmental bodies .

Ever heard of cyber~vigilantes ?

Quite topical! A close friend of mine otherwise very astute fell a victim to one such racket.

You do have to be careful! And if something sounds too good to be true….
