V is for VIGOROSO/VIVACE

Welcome to Day 22 of the Third Annual A to Z Challenge!

My theme my 26 fiction posts will revolve around something musical – it could be anything, as long as it's musically-related… maybe a song title, an artist/band, musical terminology, musical instruments, words relating to sound/rhythm/movement/dance etc.

MUSICAL ASSOCIATION/CONNECTION. VIGOROSO – a tempo mark directing that a passage is to be played with spirit, vigour or energy.

VIVACE – a musical term (Italian) indicating a movement that is in a lively mood.

So you're sorry ?

Wow.

Just like that ?

Easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.

Typical.

AND you’re full of vim and vigour?

Priceless!

I suppose you expect everything to return to normal ?

Great !

You’re sorry…

Shout it from the rooftop. *ahem*

Hurray!

Everybody give him a round of applause!

Bring out the champagne flutes, let's toast to this momentous occasion!

Oh, and while I'm at it, would you like me to frame the "Sorry" note?

Or maybe you can qualify for an award.

Imagine, the Nobel Prize for the Best Sorry Note.

Cat got your tongue ?

Get your sorry ass out of here, pronto, or I'm liable to do something you'll be sorry about … for the rest of your life!

Quite a change, isn't it? Maybe I should use this voice/style more often…

What's the word for "dripping with sarcasm." I think someone was horribly wronged!

    • michelle on April 27, 2012 at 11:37 pm

I can't think of the word off-hand… somebody is REALLY offended by something!

What a fantastic "V" post – I really felt the energy (tempo) in the conversation. Brilliant!
I hope you are enjoying the A to Z Challenge – your theme is great.

Who said love means never saying you're sorry? No way. It should be, say sorry and MEAN it.

    • michelle on April 27, 2012 at 11:41 pm

      You're right! No half measures…
