A to Z Story – In A to Z Style!
It’s the countdown to the 2015 A to Z Challenge!
This will be my fifth challenge and I’m just as excited as I was when I signed up for the first time in 2011.
Now I know that there may be lots of bloggers who are on the fence… not sure whether to sign up or not!
For many people, the thought of posting every day for 26 days (minus Sundays) is a daunting prospect, and the reasons are varied. I appreciate the fact that life gets in the way and writing projects are top priority…
BUT – I urge you to take the plunge! It’s not as scary as it seems. And there are a host of wonderful people who will assist with any queries. You are not alone. The A to Z Challenge blog has loads of information! The collective spirit generated by thousands of bloggers who are part of this challenge, is inexplicable!
You simply HAVE to experience it…
Your life will never be the same… and here’s the reason why!
Some of you may remember this – I used it as a promo post for the 2012 and 2013 challenges.
I thought this would be the perfect opportunity to resurrect it and share it again…

Brains behind this
Creative cool challenge;
Demanding, dazzling yet different;
Entertaining and energizing every blogger,
For a period of 26 days,
Get ready for the ultimate blogging challenge.
Hype yourself – get into the swing of things.
Infectious atmosphere, incredible feeling, impossible to put into words.
Jubilation, an upbeat spirit prevails and spreads throughout the blogosphere.
Keep in contact – re-connect with bloggy buddies from last years challenge.
Love affair of an entirely different nature (lovestruck and confused? click here)
Midway – made it… the halfway point – not that bad after all, is it?
Natural situation that novices need help along the way – experienced bloggers nurture nervous newbies
Oodles of oomph required – old bloggers maintain an optimistic outlook or others may opt out
Phew! Pressure’s on… big time. Plod along at your own pace. Perseverance needed. Push yourself forward.
Quirky, quaint and for some the “quintessential letter of dread” – may cause bloggers to quiver and quake.
Revitalisation, rejuvenation, re-energising and recharging of dying batteries may be required at this point – remember you’re not alone…
System overload… out of sync… saturation point almost reached… senses spinning as you struggle to sustain the systematic flow.
Thank goodness… can see the end in sight. The turbulent, tumultuous, torturous journey almost over! Almost time to say – toodles.
Unbelievable – the undeniable atmosphere of unity! Lots of bloggers upbeat – also a sense of urgency as the last five letters loom.
Va-va-voom! Versatility and variation is the name of the game as the bloggers prepare for the end – full of verve and vigour.
What do I say now? Words fail me… sending well-wishes to all bloggers participating – if you made it this far, three more posts…
X stands for x-ceptional, x-otic, x-factor, x-files, xtreme, x-hale, x-rated, xerox – the letter that most bloggers have a hard time getting to grips with.
You know that I’ve run out of things to say. Yes, enough yada-yada and blah-blah-blah… you’ll understand when you get to the Y-post in April.
Zis is zee end. No more left. Zip… zilch… zero… and there is no way that I’m gonna make 26 words for this Z-snippet… I tried.
So I’m taking a two-week blogging break. However, I’ll be lurking around the blogosphere and popping in to read your blogposts.
See you on the 23rd for the Theme Reveal Blogfest!
I remember that!
Join the mania, folks. You won’t regret it.
Enjoy your break and see you for the reveal.
An In-Transit tradition! Thanks for your contribution to the cause of promoting the Challenge.

Tossing It Out
Such a cool post! 😀 This will be my second year and I hope to be a little more organized than last time. Thanks for the words of encouragement.
It’s so much fun. I urge everyone to experience the A to Z at least once. I’m going to be A to Z-ing my trilogy this year, but I’ll be with everyone in spirit.
That’s very cute! The A-Z post is how I started my gem posts!
I finished writing all my posts the other day. I just have to schedule them now.
That was so cute. Well done, Michelle.
I remember seeing it as well! Love your excitement!

I’m really looking forward to the madness this year. I’ve only got a few tricky letters left.
Some convincing reasons to participate, Michelle! You do come up with the coolest ideas.
You always totally rock the Challenge. I am passing this year but look forward to reading all the posts.
Very creative! This will be my second Challenge. Looking forward to it. Enjoy your break!
That is a pretty cool post! Rest up for the big challenge!
I jumped in! Not sure if I will regret it, but I will give it my best shot.
I’m sitting out this year. Got two books to finish writing. Happy break to you!
Nicely done!
Heather
I liked this! I’m really looking forward to all the posts!
I was planning on participating in the challenge, but won’t be doing it because I have the release of an anthology. I’ll be reading the posts and commenting, though.
I just finished scheduling all of my posts yesterday! I’m going to have all of April to visit blogs and I’m really excited. 🙂 See you there!
Have fun on your blogging break and hope you recharge before A-Z. I’m taking April off. I figure everyone will be so busy with A-Z they’ll never miss me and I plan to get a lot of writing done. Or move across country. We’ll see.
I like your A-to-Z of the A-to-Z challenge!
I did the A-to-Z challenge last year. I didn’t particularly enjoy it, but I figured I’d try again. Working full-time and trying getting online is stressful for me. Maybe this year, I’ll take vacation.
How clever is that! Amazing post. I’m leaning toward joining. Sounds like fun and challenging. Heading over now to check out the rules.
Awesome idea. Such fun and challenging!
Hi Michelle – it is a great opportunity to hone some ideas, be creative and meet some great bloggers … I’m sure most of my friends have come out of the A-Z at the time or soon after …
Loved this take … a post after my own heart … enjoy the break – I still have to write mine up! But I’m in – cheers Hilary
Sorry, no way could I keep up with the A-Z. I’ll be visiting some of the blogs though as I know they’ll be lots of interesting posts to read.
ooh fun! I wanna try!
I’m finally back online and signed up for this year. 🙂
you are so good with the making a puzzle of words interlock just right! way to encourage and spread the word!
The challenge is a blast! The posting isn’t daunting for me – but the keeping up with comments and reaching out to new people that made it too hard for me to keep up. I’ll be cheering from the sidelines this year 🙂
Well said! It may seem crazy, and maybe it is, but it’s an experience everyone must have. 🙂
I can’t remember last week, but I think I was around during your first. If not it’s been a while. Five years. Doesn’t feel that long. I’m cheering you on, Michelle.
I’m really looking forward to the challenge, albeit nervously 🙂
See you at the theme reveal!
The best reason of all is all the people you’ll meet. It’s AMAZING! That’s how I ended up meeting all the great IWSG people I now interact with every day on here. I’ve already pre-written my posts…just finished P and getting ready to do Q. So I’m done through…I think…the 20th? That makes it easier. Although it also makes it hard to wait because you’re so excited about what you just wrote, you want it to go live tomorrow!
Enjoy your blog break! I look forward to your posts for A-Z. I didn’t participate last year so I’m super excited to be back in the game this year. Have a wonderful week. Great story by the way. Very clever!
Hi there!
I’m stopping by as many blogs as I can while getting ready for the A to Z Challenge next month. Good luck with the challenge and if you get a chance, why not stop by my blog at http://www.donnalmartin.com? I write children’s books, middle grade and young adult…
Take care,
Donna L Martin
I remember this wonderful pre-A to Z post, Michelle! Hope you’ve had a great break! I can’t wait to see what creative concept you come up with in April!
That was great! I think you summed up the spirit of the Challenge.
