This year my A to Z theme is all about

                                       **********drum roll**********

                                   FUN WITH WORDS

I'm talking about those obscure, unpronounceable, odd-sounding words that we don't encounter in our day-to-day reading and writing. I'm still wracking my brains for a suitable title for this word challenge. My theme is interactive, since I'm inviting you to take part in the fun and games and post your thoughts in the comment section.

                                         But that's not all!

I'll be posting a special greeting at the beginning of each post. It's what I call an "alliterative-styled alphabetical greeting". Some greetings may be long, some may be short. I'm not sure if it's going to work or not. I'm also not sure if it will make any sense. It's not really meant to. Some of it may turn out to be a string of mumbo-jumbo, incoherent rambling… we'll see. Bottom line is – it's all about fun! And the posts will be super-short! It should take you about a minute to read through!

So there you have it! When I have some time tomorrow, I'll be off to check out the other participants!

You know I love odd words – I might just have to borrow some of them for my tweet tales once my Rare Words book runs out of options. 🙂  And I can't wait to see what you have in store for these alliterative-styled alphabetical greetings. Best of luck with it!

    • Michelle Wallace on March 23, 2013 at 3:23 pm

Too cool, and sounds like such fun. I love learning new words and used to play the word games in Reader's Digest each month. Vocabulary is so important!

    Looking forward to your posts!

That sounds like a really cool plan. I can't wait to see your posts in April. My plan was to do flash fiction, but I've only done A so far and I'm worried I'm not going to make it, but we shall see!

    • Michelle Wallace on March 23, 2013 at 7:52 pm

I did themed flash fiction last year! It was mentally stimulating…  a great exercise. 🙂

Great theme Michelle! I don't know why I didn't see this sooner. I could've sworn that I left a comment on your top ten movie list, but I must have forgotten. Maybe my theme should be about losing it!

    • Michelle Wallace on March 28, 2013 at 7:43 am

Hahahaha! Thanks for the early morning laugh, Julie! Don't woryy, we all have those "moments" when we are so certain about something, only to discover otherwise…   🙂

  20. Shannon Lawrence on March 29, 2013 at 5:41 am

Sounds good! I love words! If I learn just one, it's totally worth it to me. Good luck!

    • Michelle Wallace on March 29, 2013 at 8:54 am

It's fun with words + a twist 🙂 You will learn lots of odd definitions… *wicked grin*
