BLOGFEST ~ Blogging From A to Z ~ April Challenge

My writing adventure has taken off quite nicely , and I've been contemplating how I should approach the whole experience at this point . I need to put goals in place ~ both short , medium and long term goals . But at the same time , I need to enjoy the experience .

With this in mind , I've decided to sign up for the A to Z challenge for the following reasons :

1. The sheer fun of it !  2. Keep the writing muscles exercised  3. Experience the spirit of mass blogging ( all those who have done other blogfests , NaNoWriMo and similar challenges ,  know what its all about )  4. It will be my first such experience and it's only for 26 days !

The premise of this challenge is to post something on your blog everyday in April , except for Sundays . In doing this , you will have 26 blog posts , one for each letter of the alphabet . You can post essays, short pieces of fiction, poetry, recipes, travel sketches … and will only be limited by your own imagination  in this challenge . So it's also a good way to keep the creative juices flowing !!

So … while I am busy enjoying the Blogfest , I will also be putting my other writing goals into perspective . Just a reminder that I will continue participating in the weekly drabble challenge ~ no compromise on that !! And I have just signed up for the Chrysalis Experiment (one week ago) … so that just about takes care of SOME of my writing goals . And that should keep me pretty busy for the next few weeks !
