Blogfest Day 13 ~ M is for Mother

I learned this song in Sunday School , many many many years ago . We celebrate Mothers Day next month , so I'm going to teach it to my school choir so that they can sing it at the assembly .

M ~~ is for the million things she gave me

O ~~ is that she's only growing old

T ~~ is for the tears she shed to save me

H ~~ is for her heart as pure as gold

E ~~ is for her eyes with love they're shining

R ~~ is right and right she'll always be

Put them all together they spell MOTHER

The word that means the world to me !!!!

I remember learning this song too, I hadn't thought of it in years but it came right back as soon as I read your post. Thanks for the memory! Wonderful post, I feel so lucky to still have my mother as well.
