Bluebell SSS Prompt No. 7 ~ A Safari Gathering …

                                                                                                                        

                 Create a story, a prose or a poem using at least 4 words from the Wordle given above. of course, you may apply all words provided in your entry, enjoy the challenge .

 
It was spectacular , a treat for the eyes , a canvas splashed in shades of oranges-reds-golds , as the sun disappeared behind the horizon . As the light faded , the sharp outline of the thatched-roof bungalow was reduced to an eerie silhouette . The idyllic beach view of a few hours earlier , complete with white sand and cerulean blue sea forming a picturesque background , was now replaced by shadows , barely visible in the last few moments before the light disappeared completely .

 

An unmistakeable scent of coconut wafted from the assorted cocktail glasses that were passed around .Twelve committee members were represented at the gathering . They spoke little . Each person occupied with his own thoughts and the story he would contribute . The nearby sea as the tide rushed in competed with the distant music of the jungle night . The heartbeat of the jungle was raw and primitive . It was living , breathing , pulsating ; a cacophony of weird and wonderful sounds that combined to create a unique and sensual rhythm . They could feel it . There was no escaping its power.

In another context , the experience would have been pure bliss . But this was not your average , fun-filled , safari adventure . It was an adventure of another kind alltogether, filled with danger and intrigue . There were important decisions to be made . Peoples' lives would be changed , irrevocably . By the end of the evening , alliances would be forged and longstanding friendships would be put to the test . All the deliberations of the evening would be undertaken with one goal in mind , which bonded each person to the other , in a strange manner ; a goal each one was committed to…

      Crikey , does that mean I have to continue with this story … ? I don’t really have an entire plot for it , just wrote it for the SSS …
