DRABBLE CHALLENGE ~ CHANGE

She really , really liked him . "So , do you know what day it is ?"

He shrugged his shoulders .

There was a faint buzzing in his ears … "Our third month anniversary ! Can you believe it ?"

He felt the strange , yet familiar tingling sensation …

She could actually see the relationship going somewhere !

The buzzing grew slightly stronger … "Did you say three months …?" hesitantly . He knew that it was time . He recognised the tell-tale signs .

  "I need to tell you something ———", he began .

Her expression changed from one of confusion , to disbelief , to fear .

Before her eyes , he began to morph into something … almost non-human !
