DRABBLE CHALLENGE ~ HOURGLASS
The drabble challenge is a weekly challenge hosted by Aheila on her blog : http://thewriteaholicblog.wordpress.com A reminder how it works : read the prompt and find your angle ; write a drabble (100 word story , give or take 5 words) ; post a direct link to the drabble in your comments
Life was topsy-turvy . A rollercoaster existence of super highs and death-defying lows . Time was erratic , a trickster who speeded up and slowed down , at a whim . Year one passed in a crazy blur . Year two proved to be somewhat better . Life shifted into perspective , of sorts , a semblance of normality – as normal as possible under gruelling circumstances . Years three and four yielded major progress , the craziness of two years before seeming to dissipate into a dull memory . Year five passed comfortably . In the middle of the sixth year , he re-surfaced , out of the blue , and life was turned upside down … again !
Yep. A guy can definitely turn life on its head. 😉
And I’ve been witness to that fact far too many times … 🙂
Yeah, relationships have a way of turning life on its head, but, heck, never a dull moment, right?
I suppose that’s one way of looking at it … and hey , you do get the personality types that seem to attract a lot of “drama” to their lives … it forms part of their “colourful” lifestyle !
Yep. That's how it happens sometimes.
I always wonder , but how on earth can a person allow another human to turn your world upside down … ? Then I realise that you have to be in it , to understand it … !
Bravo, Mish! You handled that challenge well, and it has the ring of authenticity. Life happens just that way!
Thanks for your visits and comments on my blog.
Happy day …
Thanks Jamie … 🙂
