It was his final project , his swan song . He made the long walk , one last time , his long walk to freedom . A solitary figure , sad and wistful , he trudged down the long corridor to the spacious room situated just before the right wing of the sprawling estate . He reminisced about that first day , six months earlier . The then clean and vacant wall had glared at him , a blank slate , virgin canvas filled with unknowingness , tabula rasa …
A few final strokes of the brush and a final splash of colour completed the transformation , adding je na sais quoi to the masterpiece .
I guess Michelangelo felt a bit like that. I like it!
Thanks Aheila ! 🙂
I really like the mood of this piece, M! The solitary figure, sprawling estate, long walk during which he's giving careful thought to his final, finishing touches. Added to that is the suspense you nicely create which kept me guessing about the ending. Very nice!!
