DRABBLE CHALLENGE ~ RAIN
The drabble is a weekly challenge hosted by Aheila on her blog :http://thewriteaholicblog.wordpress.com A reminder how it works : read the prompt and find your angle ; write a drabble (100 word story , give or take 5 words) ; post a direct link to the drabble in your comments
My heart races in its chest cavity as the hailstones pelt down with a vengeance . Like a scene from a horror movie , the stones grow bigger and bigger until they are human limbs ; flailing arms and dangling legs , falling from the sky in droves and dissipating just before they reach the surface . The cries intensify and reach a crescendo as the masses rain down , human torsos , arms and legs , a mass of confusion …There is a ringing in my ears , hyperventilation sets in and my fingers and toes tingle … I stretch out my hands to shield my sight from the falling bodies …
spectacularly spooky. I could almost smell the gore. well done!

That is a thoroughly frightening image and a great horror tale. Your description is amazing, as always, Mish!
Quite different from my normal writing , hey ? Thanks Ryan .
I love the elements of horror in your drabble. You've done a great job of really painting a picture with your words!
Thanks Dana ! I think the scene was too graphic … talk about horror … *shudders*
