E is for E-Book

Eureka! Happy E-Day to every energetic, ecstatic entrant! Endurance is essential in this epic challenge. Expose and eradicate expected emergencies quite easily! Enquire early… there's help everywhere! On with the entertaining episodes!

Ever wondered what books would say if they had the chance to express themselves/air their views?

Well, you are about to find out!

All illustrations are by the talented Mary-An. Check out her website HERE

And now you get to play along! What do YOU think the e-book wants to tell us? Post it in the comment section below. Have fun!

At the end of the challenge, between 02nd and 05th of May, I'm going to announce my favourite "book comment" which will be the one that resonates with me the most!

A REMINDER: the IWSG site will have a corresponding post for each letter/day of the A to Z Challenge so do stop by.

On the Facebook page, a thread will be started for the "letter of the day" and we'd LOVE you to share your A to Z post links on the daily thread – this saves YOU time scrolling through links on the master A to Z sign-up list, especially since people post at different times… some MAY skip letters… dead links etc.

One last thing – don't forget to visit those who stop by your blog!

I'm so terrible. After reading eBooks for too long I actually try to swipe physical pages.

I love e-book. They give us the advantage of saving space in addition to that of reading their content. All the best with the challenge. From a fellow participant.

Stop whining about a little glare! Where else can you read a great story, check your emails, and post Facebook photos all in one place? Who's the dummy now?!

    Excellent entry for "E," Michelle!

I know you're love of the smell and feel of paper. You can still have those things. All I ask of you is to take me with you on your love trips where you can sift through your library in less than a pound of space.

I am still avoding the e-reader thing.  I see the benefits, especially when travelling or needing to study for whatever.  But darn it, I still like holding a hardcover in the hands and shoving my nose in!

I've wanted to get an ereader for so long now…. though I just read an article that talks about how you don't actually own the ebooks you buy from amazon. It's more of a long term 'rental' and amazon can cancel your account without notice if they want and block you out of your elibrary….but I think I'll still try and get one for the books that only come out digitally, though nothing beats a physical book in hand in my opinion. 🙂

I was thinking I should have an iPad to go along with my eReader BECAUSE I can never seem to nab it before my husband does. What’s with that! Yes–I need an iPad. Also, I have an old eReader and it doesn’t have wifi. So–it’s unanimous! Right!

  33. Bradley Charbonneau on April 8, 2014 at 9:22 pm

I think the e-book wonders what it was like to be a paper book … back in the day. 🙂

  34. Michelle Wallace on April 9, 2014 at 12:54 pm

Thank you to everybody who played along! I hope you had lots of fun… I did! 🙂

I've said it before and I'll say it again- you can pry my paperback from my cold, dead hands.
