F is for Forgiven + Fright Before Christmas

F - 2016Welcome to the annual A to Z Challenge.

My theme: showcasing bloggers books, novellas, short story collections, poetry collections and some non-fiction books. The letters of the alphabet will correspond with the book title. I’ll be posting a link to my review of each book. I also have two questions for the author, just to spice things up a little.

Hopefully, visitors to my blog will be able to increase their reading lists and also get ideas for their wish lists.

Forgiven (A Trouble Novella) by Rachel Morgan. This book has since been removed from publication. But you can read similar stories written by the author HERE. The Trouble With Flying (The Trouble Series Book 1) is free on Amazon.

Forgiven (A Trouble Novella)Genre/Category: Sweet contemporary romance.

The book character you want to have coffee with is: Hermione Granger.

What would you name the autobiography of your life? The autobiography of my life would be called … jeez, I don’t know … my life really isn’t that interesting! Everything that happens in my head is interesting, but real life? Not so much! It’s just me in my pajamas/comfy clothes trying to find a new spot around the house to sit in every day while making stuff up about fictional people’s exciting lives! Okay. I’ve got it. “The Pajama-Clad Story Spinner.”

Fright Before Christmas: 13 Tales Of Holiday Horrors (includes a story by Medeia Sharif) Read my review HERE.

Fright Before Christmas - 13 Tales

I asked Medeia the following questions.

Genre/Category: Horror.

The book character you want to have coffee with is: Isadora Wing. I love Erica Jong’s series about that character.

What would you name the autobiography of your life? The autobiography of my life would be entitled The Quiet Lion. People say I’m quiet, but I have my fierce moments.

One lucky winner will receive an e-book of his/her choice from all other titles by Medeia Sharif. See all titles HERE. Please leave an e-mail address after your comment by Thursday 07th April (today), if you wish to be entered in the giveaway. Winners will be announced on Friday 08th April (tomorrow).

Do you fall into the category of pyjama-clad story spinner? Do you read horror stories? Who is your favorite horror author? Which famous person would you like to have coffee with? Week one has passed. Are you enjoying the A to Z Challenge thus far?

Thank you for including Forgiven and the Trouble series in today’s post!

    I’m a bathrobe-clad story spinner.

Hermione is perfect! I’m jealous of that answer.

And “The Quiet Lion” would be a great title for a memoir.

Looks down – um, yes I am wearing PJ pants – but I have proper clothes on the top half. The PJ pants are so comfy 🙂 I love horror stories and I think my fav horror writer is probably Stephen King, I say probably, because I do like ghost stories too and some, like Susan Hill are amazing, but King is the best all-rounder IMHO. Having a blast with the AtoZ 🙂

Here from the A-Z sign up list formally this time 🙂

King is the King, but there are others as well, who don’t write horror per se, but a one-off story or novel is completely marvellous.

    Book character – Scarlett O’Hara

The Quiet Lion is something to aspire to!

    Best,

Love the Pajama Clad Story Spinner! I’m there, sometimes. I do get out quite a bit, though. I spend much time in dark theaters.
    Great challenge theme!

Stephen King, by far. I love that Medeia wrote of Christmas horror. I was once challenged to write of a Christmas murder. 🙂
Oh yes, I’m a PJ clad story spinner. Love that title!
As for the A to Z I got behind yesterday, and now worry I’ll never catch up. LOL

Nope but I do have bouts of staying up all night and writing. I don’t read as much horror as I did when I was writing it. Dont have one favorite but the writers at Pen of the Damned about the best horror I’ve read.
Would love to have coffee with J.R.R. Tolkien (it would need to be a pot of coffee.)
I think this year Ive finally found manageable for A to Z. I used to try to visit every blogger over the 30 day period – impossible for my schedule. So yes I am enjoying it hope you are!
Im blogging from Fill the cracks and Moondustwriter’s Blog. Happy A to Zing!

That tree with the tentacles is quite the grabber as far as covers go. I still have this book to read. Better get cracking on that list.

I’m a sweats-clad story spinner with fuzzy socks. I was a Stephen King fangirl until Pet Sematary prevented me from sleeping for many a night. I’d love to have tea with J.M. Barrie.
