G is for Grimoire/Grammar Book

Greetings! Gadzooks! It's G-Day! Did I hear gasping, gulping and gnashing of teeth? Get a grip, get a grip! Good grief got a gazillion blogs to get to! Grab some grub. Got to gobble and go! Goodbye!

Ever wondered what books would say if they had the chance to express themselves/air their views?

Well, you are about to find out!

All illustrations are by the talented Mary-An. Check out her website HERE

But wait! What is a grimoire? It is a textbook of magic. Go to WIKIPEDIA for more info…

And now you get to play along! What do YOU think these two books want to tell us? Post it in the comment section below. Have fun!

At the end of the challenge, between 02nd and 05th of May, I'm going to announce my favourite "book comment" which will be the one that resonates with me the most!

A REMINDER: the IWSG site will have a corresponding post for each letter/day of the A to Z Challenge so do stop by.

On the Facebook page, a thread will be started for the "letter of the day" and we'd LOVE you to share your A to Z post links on the daily thread – this saves YOU time scrolling through links on the master A to Z sign-up list, especially since people post at different times… some MAY skip letters… dead links etc.

One last thing – don't forget to visit those who stop by your blog!

Grammar: You know the comma is a magical mark; it can totally turn a sentence into something else. And the semi-colon, oh let me tell you …

Grimoire: I'll give you a magical mark if you don't be quiet!

Grimoire: Mix two parts bat blood, one part swamp water and four spider legs.

    Grammar: Oxford comma, my dear.

Nope. Coming up empty. I want to say something clever, but maybe an amradillo sat on my brain in the middle of the night and sucked all my creativity away. Or it could have been the late night editing session… Either way. I love the other responses!

Hehe, everyones responses are so cute.

Grammar: …as I was saying, opinon adjectives should always come before fact adjectives. Fact adjectives, as you'll recall, are…

Grimoire (under it's breath): Best sleeping potion ever…

LOVE the scene in WICKED where Elphaba uses the Grimoire. Hmm, who should I turn into a scarecrow?

After Grammar's comment, Grimoire's might mumble…Don't you just hate know-it-alls?

Other than what I've learned on the show Charmed, I know nothing about the Grimoire. The grammar book is a pain in the arse.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments. I hope you had fun because I'm having a blast! 🙂

The Grammar book would insist it is magical by all the ways it can help create a sentence and the Grimoire book would roll it's eyes… if it had some. Maybe there's a spell in it that would create a pair of eyes for it to roll. LOL!
