SENSATIONAL HAIKU & WHIMSICAL WEDNESDAY~12

Little things in life

Often taken for granted

Change your perception

                                             It's as simple as

                                             The miracle of waking

                                              Each and ev'ry morn

Moment by moment

Not just special occasions

Life in all its forms

CELEBRATE

If you would like to find out more about the haiku challenge, go to Jenn's blog.

…and onto some weird, whacky and sometimes wonderful words (from the dag's dictionary)…

Cellulights – the especially harsh lights found in fashion-shop changing rooms designed to prove you must cover your body at all times, preferably with their overpriced clothes.

Dialiloquy – a message to oneself, left on one's own answering machine as a reminder to do something, which is delivered in a strangely intimate and loving voice.

Taggadocio – vain, empty boasting by means of wearing clothes with a visible brand name.

We tend to celebrate the momentous occasions and take the simple, everyday things for granted… thanks Gemma!

Ah, perception, something we do have control over. I am guilty of the dilaliloquy. Love the whacky words.

Thanks Leslie. So you're one of the guilty "dialiloquy dames" *chuckles* Although I'm thinking, the answering machine could come in quite handy for taping bursts of writing inspiration which may descend at odd times and in odd places…  🙂
