The Insecure Writer’s Support Group ~ No#21

It's time for another IWSG posting, but this time it's an extra special edition. Yes, we're celebrating the Two Year Anniversary of the Insecure Writer's Support Group.

                                                                                                                                                         First Wed of Every Month
I'm proud to be a co-host for this month, alongside the following awesome people ——–

Chemist Ken http://hogwartssabbatical.blogspot.com/

SL Hennessey http://pensuasion.blogspot.com/

Joylene Nowell Butler http://cluculzwriter.blogspot.com/

Now I have plenty of insecurities stewing on the back burner, but I wanted to do something different… and after wracking my poor brains, and with the help of my illustrator Reice (hopefully, he can give me some lessons…), I came up with this ———————–

20130903-202954.jpg

Yes, lets celebrate those insecurities – big and small… old and new… real or imagined… temporary or permanent…

20130903-203134.jpg

Oh you poor things, haven't you heard? Everybody is welcome to join the IWSG… it's for the published and yet-to-be-published… soon-to-be-published… wondering-when-you-will-be-published… if-you-will-be-published… traditionally-published… self-published…

20130903-203333.jpg

So let's get this party started!

HAPPY TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY  IWSG'ers! And a special thank you to Alex, the brain behind this wonderful group!

Head over to the IWSG to read other posts written by a bunch of fabulous writers.

Thanks for co-hosting this month, and for lending your support to the rest of us. 🙂

    • Michelle Wallace on September 5, 2013 at 6:15 am

Some of them have been waiting for a long, long time! I know of a WIP who had to endure a 16 year wait… 🙂

Oh, I love those cute insecurities. Most of mine are ugly. One's a monster wearing a familiar face. The newest is a frownie face baby born of rejection. I'm off the list. Thanks for co-hosting! Your post made me smile for the first time today.

  24. J.L. Campbell on September 4, 2013 at 7:23 pm

You gotta love those characters. I have a bunch of them on my hard drive begging to get out.

    • Michelle Wallace on September 5, 2013 at 6:26 am

Sher and Joy, those insecurities come disguised in all different forms, in all sizes and shapes…

  25. Sandy Campbell on September 4, 2013 at 7:24 pm

Very cute….I think I fell in there someplace…I am just a writer in progress!  I know I did, it is for everyone….I hope to step into another page one day very soon!  Sandy

  31. Snoop Bloggy Dog on September 5, 2013 at 1:10 am

Yo and delighted y'all are one of the co-hosts of "IWSG" aka "I Was Seeking Gary."  Well, that's what my delusional human thinks it means.  Maybe he's insecure.

Cute drawings.  And congrats on the second birthday of it all.  As for me and my human, we'd rather be publically humilated than get involved in it.  Still, we wish y'all the very beast, um best! 🙂

    Stay chillin'

Snoop Bloggy Dog in Da Gangsta's Pawadise!

    • Michelle Wallace on September 5, 2013 at 6:33 am

    Alex, it was a pleasure!

Donna, stick figures? So do I, but I'm learning… slowly but surely… dunno how far it'll go…

    Lara, I'm trying to learn… it's quite a mission… maybe I should just take a crash course. 🙂

  36. Shannon Lawrence on September 5, 2013 at 8:04 am

      PK, thanks sistah!  🙂

Annalisa, thanks, I'm trying to draw… on my own *grimace* dunno how much progress will be made… time will tell…  🙂

JQ, the IWSG website is so important and I'm extremely proud to be a part of helping to put it together… nice to meet you and thanks for stopping by my place.

  51. Milo James Fowler on September 8, 2013 at 3:31 pm

Great way to celebrate — my novel-length WIP's have been feeling a bit insecure, since I've been spending so much time with my short stories. That's about to change.
