The Insecure Writer’s Support Group ~ No#43

Purpose: To share and encourage. Writers can express doubts and concerns without fear of appearing foolish or weak. Those who have been through the fire can offer assistance and guidance. It’s a safe haven for insecure writers of all kinds!

Posting: The first Wednesday of every month is officially Insecure Writer’s Support Group day. Post your thoughts on your own blog. Talk about your doubts and the fears you have conquered. Discuss your struggles and triumphs. Offer a word of encouragement for others who are struggling. Visit others in the group and connect with your fellow writer – aim for a dozen new people each time.

The co-hosts for this month are: Charity Bradford,S.A. Larsen,AJ,Tamara Narayan,Allison Gammons, and Tanya Miranda!Don’t forget to visit them and thank them for co-hosting!

Our Twitter hashtag is #IWSG

Two of my haikus have been accepted by Haiku Journal and appear online in the current issue, which is no. 38.

My 25-word story, also known as hint fiction, has been accepted by Nailpolish Stories, which is a tiny and colorful literary journal. It will go live on Monday 06 July.

So I’ll just get back to my writing… and submitting to various e-zines/journals as I’ve been busy doing these past few weeks. I’ve also been reading and writing reviews. What have you been up to?

I’ll be visiting blogs and catching up with everybody over the next few days.

For those of you who haven’t seen the gorgeous T-shirt yet…… feast your eyes!!

IWSG-ADHAPPY IWSG DAY!

I’m doing final edits on the companion novel to my debut, and trying not to have a stroke over formatting issues.

IWSG #123 until Alex culls the list again.

    • Michelle Wallace on July 2, 2015 at 6:33 pm

Melissa, sounds like you’re on track. Good luck with the formatting. Hope you sort it out.

  10. Crystal Collier on July 1, 2015 at 4:40 pm

    Yay for the publishing credits!

I’ve been trying to get a handle on the kids, life, home school, the new baby, house maintenance, and getting this darn book finished! Life can get complicated SO fast, right?

    • Michelle Wallace on July 2, 2015 at 6:34 pm

I’d choose the baby over the writing – every time! Okay, correction, MOST of the time. 😀

      • Crystal Collier on July 15, 2015 at 3:56 pm

LOL. That’s exactly what’s happening. Good intentions trumped by baby.

  19. Southpaw HR Sinclair on July 1, 2015 at 11:43 pm

I’m hoping it will push me up to my next level. I did write three new blurbs for Yolanda Renee’s Mystery trilogy coming out soon, so at least the “Blurb King” is getting published. LOL…
