The Insecure Writer’s Support Group ~ No#7
Well, I don't have much to say today. But I do not want to incur the wrath of a certain Ninja Captain… so here's my short contribution. But before I forget – to my fellow bloggers – hope you had/have an awesome 04th July…
I'm still insecure… yep that's me…
Nothing has changed much in that respect
Sterling show of support in the blogisphere spurs me on… keeps me going
Empowering myself is the name of the game
Challenges/prompts keep me on my writerly toes
Uphill process – but the unity is unbelievable
Reaching out to fellow bloggers/writers… rest assured I'll get there!
Eventually
Head over to the IWSG to check out some rants and raves from a group of fabulous writers!
The support keeps me going, that's for sure!!
Yep, without moral support, I don't think I'd have improved as much as I have…
Keep working on it, you will get there one day. You have the ability, just need to plod on. 🙂
I can do the plodding along thinggie, so that's a portion of the battle won… 🙂
You are doing a great job and your insecurity definitely does not show.
Murees, that is a sweet comment, thank you so much! I really appreciate it… 🙂
You truly are doing an awesome job. Love this post! (:
Thank you, Elise! You have encouraged and helped me along on this journey… 🙂
That was a bouncy diddy.
I tried to keep it as light as possible, so as not to come across as too negative.
Great way to sum it up.
As it stands, it outlines my writing journey at present. Thanks Mary!
I really like that. I'm insecure too and there is a great support system in the blog world.
Thanks Teresa! Yes, I don't know where I would have been if it weren't for the support structure!
I am continually amazed at the friendships and support that I've been able to develop over the last 6 months. April A-Z and IWSG have been a major part of that.
Definitely! The IWSG and April A-Z Challenge, are two wonderful platforms for bloggers/writers to meet and connect with like-minded people!
This was very clever Michelle! I hope you are more secure than you let on, because you are an amazing writer with so much to offer. I love reading your imaginative posts!
Thanks for the boost of inspiration, Julie! I appreciate it!
yay, michelle!
love it!
Tara, you are like a burst of sunshine. I always look forward to your positivity… 🙂
The wrath of the Ninja Captain! LOL! I'm sure Alex got a laugh when he read that. I'm an insecure writer, too. I just haven't made it official by joining the group.
I didn't want to upset "the powers that be" *chuckles* You must join us one of these days…
Fun acrostic and so true. My knees would have buckled big time without all the writerly love from my crit partners, betas, and of course Bloglandia.
Thanks Leslie! The support in Bloglandia is truly unbelievable! 🙂
I love the acrostic and agree with every line.
Thank you Medeia! The acrostic is a line-by-line account of my experience/emotions at present…
What a clever and sweet post — and just the way I like them — tight and entertaining. Awesome. 🙂
Thanks for the sweet comment! 🙂
I agree with everyone–acrostics rock–especially when they are heartfelt and personal!
Bless you and keep writing. (You're like the Little Train that Could!) 😉
*chuckles* I love the imagery of The Little Train that Could! 🙂 I'm off to re-acquaint myself with the tale…
Ha, I love this 🙂
Thanks for the visit and comment, Lynda! 🙂
Now that was great! And yes, you will get there, Michelle. Keep it up! 🙂
Tracy, you're back! 🙂 Hope you had a wonderful "fishing expedition"! Thanks for popping in.
What a wonderful acrostic for summing up how it feels to be a writer.
I have to admit that I have a thing for acrostics! 🙂
Nicely done! IWSG is awesome.
Yep! IWSG is super-duper-ultra-uber a-w-e-s-o-m-e! 🙂
