K is for Keep Your Thoughts Positive…

Welcome to your daily dose of inspiration:
In Darkness Be Light.

Since social media and news in recent times has been filled with so much hate and negativity, these simple reminders aim at promoting positivity and lightening up your day.

Keep your thoughts positive, because your thoughts become your words. Keep your words positive, because your words become your behavior. Keep your behavior positive, because your behavior become your habits. Keep your habits positive, because your habits become your values. Keep your values positive, because your values become your destiny. Mahatma Gandhi

Would you like to be a part of spreading positivity? Check out the We Are The World Blogfest, which aims at promoting positive news. Here’s the shortened version:

  • Keep your post to below 500 words, as much as possible.
  • All we ask is you link to a human news story on your blog on the last Friday of each month, one that shows love, humanity, and brotherhood. Something like this news, about a man who only fosters terminally ill children.
  • Join us on the last Friday of each month in sharing news.

Positive thoughts lead to productive behavior, which increases your chances of a successful outcome. So whether you realize it or not, you are already creating your reality through your thought power.
What new reality would you like to create?

Hi Michelle! This is such a short and sweet thought. I come from India. Gandhi is the ´Father of the Nation´ and was instrumental in getting our freedom. It´s a nice thought and quite powerful and true too. I invite you to my day´s challenge and blog https://pensense.blogspot.in/. Keep writing. Cheers!

Gandhi was a particularly astute man.

The reality I would like to create is education for every single child. Sadly that is not yet a reality in my country, and also around the world.

My husband is the positive one in the family, while I’m the grumbler. It’s a yin and yang kind of thing.

Mahatma Gandhi is so right. It isn’t an easy thing to do. For people to change their thought patterns, they have to want to make a change. I have been working on changing my thoughts from negative to positive. It has helped me become more productive. Instead of saying I can’t do this or that today. I make a goal of getting certain things accomplished. I make an effort at accomplishing my goals. I may not get it all done but I put in the effort. I feel better for it, especially when I share positive things, news, and events.. ~fellow #WATWB member

We really need one another to do this, because if I’ve fallen into a pit, I need someone to bring me a lamp.
