Celebrate The Small Things
QUOTE: Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude ~ Denis Waitley.
Today, I'm celebrating the power of happiness. I'm happy because…
~ I posted for the Overcoming Adversity bloghop and read amazing stories
~ The monthly IWSG post
~ Started reading another novel by a blogger buddy
~ Planned posts for 2 more bloghops
~ Wrote a few hundred words this week
~ Worked on my theme for the A to Z Challenge
This awesome bloghop is hosted by VikLit over at Scribblings Of An Aspiring Author. Check it out!
In the spirit of happiness, I also want to celebrate a book that has been several years in the making.
HOW TO PUBLISH AND PROMOTE YOUR BOOK NOW!
By L. Diane Wolfe
Publishing and promoting made simple!
Have you always dreamed of publishing a book but didn’t know where to begin? This book walks you through the steps of identifying markets, budgeting, building an online presence, and generating publicity. Get the whole story on:
You got a lot done and certainly much to be happy about! Did you eat some happy nuts by chance? (; Oh, and I fianlly settled on a theme for A-Z too! WOOT. 😀
And Diane's books sounds great! Seeing it everywhere and I hope it does really well.
It's been a productive week!
Congratulations to Diane.
A productive week indeed. Not sure about A-Z though, after two years I just might skip it this year. April and May are sizzling months in the sub continent, and I want to spend as little time near the pc as I can. I read your IWSG, loved your words. I will hang around, maybe not as much as before but a couple of posts a week for sure. Thanks for being there Michelle. 🙂
Thank you so much, Michelle!
Thank you for the book recommendation, as I will have to check it out. I think that you should be very proud of yourself because you sure did accomplish a lot. Way to go, girl!
Love the quote! Celebrating the power of happiness is so simple and yet we tend to skip right over that one, don't we? Great week, glad you got some writing down 🙂
You sound so organize. Excellent. I hope you have a beautifiul weekend, Michelle.
@Elise ~ great that you've decided on a theme… the nuts joke is too funny, I don't think I'm responding to that… LOL
@Alex ~ thanks Alex!
@Rekha ~ good to see you around Rek… don't do a disappearing act… what happened to those beautiful photos you were taking…? would love to see more…
@L.Diane ~ congratulations Spunk!! 🙂
@Murees ~ thank you… I hope you're feeling much better now!
@SK Anthony ~ we take happiness for granted…
@MPax ~ I try to be organised because I work better that way…
What a productive week! I am glad you are working on your A-Z theme!
Wow, you had such a productive week! I need to start working on my A-Z, if I don't hurry up April will be here and I'll be scrambling like I did last year. Kudos to Diane, I'm looking forward to her book!
Hi Michelle!
Sounds like I picked the wrong week to skip IWSG…but I had co-hosting stuff to do…sigh. I do love that group. SUPPORT being the operative word there!
I'm here to welcome you to the 2013 A-Z Challenge! I absolutely LOVE the look of your blog. If you look at mine, you might not guess, but I love what you've done with the place, especially turning all those chiclets so cool looking…
Looking foward to getting to know you better througout The Challenge. Hit me up with questions, I'm the info@ email answerer…among other duties…

@TinaLifeisGood, #atozchallenge
Sounds like you've had a good week! 🙂
I've been seeing Diane's book all over the blogosphere. It seems really good.
Congrats on being so productive this week! Here's hoping next week is even better!
Great quote and awesome things to celebrate! I also read your IWSG post. I haven't had as much time to go through the Adversity bloghop entries as I've wanted to, but i'm going to try to catch up on a bunch this weekend. Just wanted to say that I loved what you had to say about it!!
Aint nothing better to celebrate than happiness. It's good to recognize those small accomplishments, which then do make us all so happy.
@Viklit ~ working on the AtoZ in advance means there's less stress and more time for visits during the challenge…
@Julie ~ that book sounds like a must-have… chock-full of valuable info…
@Tina ~ info@ e-mail answerer… LOL… what a title… you sure have your work cut out for you…
@Golden E. ~ her book is burning up the blogosphere…
@Lara ~ it's been a great week!
@Tamara ~ thank you… I loved your heart-warming story…
@Nancy ~ yep, I so agree… 100%…
You really seem to be getting out of – and giving a lot to – the blogosphere.
Now that's a lot of reasons to celebrate! You go, Girl! Good for you! 🙂 Best of the rest of the weekend to you, Michelle!
I received Diane's book on Friday and I'm already 1/2 finished. Awesome read so far!! 🙂
All good things to be happy about 🙂
That's a lot. You've been busy. 🙂 I plan on reading Diane's book.
I love the quote!
I love that quote!
Glad to hear you got so much stuff done! I can't preplan for A-Z as my posts will be based on audience response. That might sound wacky, but I'm hoping it will be more fun than stressful!
And thanks again for the support! I'm loving re-reading the Adversity entries as I proof them for the book – so much amazing stuff!
I love the quote and these are all good things to be happy about!
Congratulations to Diane. Her book sounds full of useful advice!
@Julia ~ I love to get involved and support my fellow bloggy buddies… and I believe that what you put out into the world, comes back to you…
@M.J. ~ thanks M.J.
@DL ~ you've made good headway with the book, so it must be interesting… seems like it contains lots of valuable info…
@Carol ~ yes, there's lots to be happy and thankful for…
@Medeia ~ busy, busy, busy and I enjoyed every single moment of it… 🙂
@Juliet ~ it's wonderful…
@Sherry ~ happiness is a state of being…
@Nick ~ I'm excited about the Overcoming Adversity book… my AtoZ is also dependent on audience response, but can still be pre-planned…
@Nas ~ I would love a paperback copy of that book… it's a must-have…
Best of luck to Diane. Wow, Michelle you are uber-productive. Color me impressed.
Congrats to Diane! I'm impressed that you already started working on A to Z Michelle. You are so organized.
Ah yes, the power of remembering all the things in our lives that make us happy… 🙂
here's to another great week =)
Happiness also doesn't mean that you will always be happy. Sometimes, in pursuing things that make you happy you have to travel through frustration, impatience, trouble-shooting, and a lack of self-confidence.
Very productive!
@Leslie Rose ~ thanks Leslie… hope you are well… have you signed up for the AtoZ this year?
@Julie ~ organization is one way to make sure you don't get weighed down during the challenge, especially when you are nearing the end…
@Lynda ~ thanks for the visit 🙂
@Tara Tyler ~ definitely Tara… I'll toast to that 🙂
@Kim ~ you are so right… that's the '"flip side of the coin".
@Melissa ~ thanks for popping in.
I've seen this book posted a few times, will have to look into it. I think focusing on the small things and being thankful is a wonderful idea for a blog meme.
Congratulations on getting so much done! And yay for L. Diane!
I love reading new stories by my fellow bloggers! It's fun to have a bit of knowledge of the author before going into their stories.
Yay for awesome weeks! Hope this one is going well too 🙂 I need to figure out if I can swing the A-Z challenge this year–April is going to be a crazy month!
I love that quote at the beginning. I want to make a vinal of that and put it on my wall somewhere!
@Charmaine ~ Diane's book is definitely choc full of golden writerly nuggets…
@Shannon ~ thanks Warrior Muse!
@Nickie ~ connecting with and getting to know my blogger buddies has encouraged me to expand my reading horizons and I can now read across and appreciate different genres…
@Meradeth ~ this week is going uber well thanks 🙂 you should sign up for AtoZ, you might regret not doing so once the challenge is underway… keep the posts short and simple…
@Jennie ~ it IS a fabulous quote!
