Celebrate The Small Things

QUOTE: Happiness cannot be travelled to, owned, earned, worn or consumed. Happiness is the spiritual experience of living every minute with love, grace and gratitude ~ Denis Waitley.

Today, I'm celebrating the power of happiness. I'm happy because…

~ I posted for the Overcoming Adversity bloghop and read amazing stories

~ The monthly IWSG post

~ Started reading another novel by a blogger buddy

~ Planned posts for 2 more bloghops

~ Wrote a few hundred words this week

~ Worked on my theme for the A to Z Challenge

This awesome bloghop is hosted by VikLit over at Scribblings Of An Aspiring Author.  Check it out!

In the spirit of happiness, I also want to celebrate a book that has been several years in the making.

    A productive week indeed. Not sure about A-Z though, after two years I just might skip it this year. April and May are sizzling months in the sub continent, and I want to spend as little time near the pc as I can. I read your IWSG, loved your words. I will hang around, maybe not as much as before but a couple of posts a week for sure. Thanks for being there Michelle. 🙂

    Love the quote! Celebrating the power of happiness is so simple and yet we tend to skip right over that one, don't we? Great week, glad you got some writing down 🙂

    Hi Michelle!

    Great quote and awesome things to celebrate! I also read your IWSG post. I haven't had as much time to go through the Adversity bloghop entries as I've wanted to, but i'm going to try to catch up on a bunch this weekend. Just wanted to say that I loved what you had to say about it!!

  14. Nancy LaRonda Johnson on February 9, 2013 at 7:21 am

    Aint nothing better to celebrate than happiness. It's good to recognize those small accomplishments, which then do make us all so happy.

    Now that's a lot of reasons to celebrate! You go, Girl! Good for you! 🙂 Best of the rest of the weekend to you, Michelle!

    I love that quote!

  23. Nick Wilford on February 10, 2013 at 5:22 pm

    Glad to hear you got so much stuff done! I can't preplan for A-Z as my posts will be based on audience response. That might sound wacky, but I'm hoping it will be more fun than stressful!

    And thanks again for the support! I'm loving re-reading the Adversity entries as I proof them for the book – so much amazing stuff!

  24. Nas on February 10, 2013 at 9:10 pm

    @Medeia ~ busy, busy, busy and I enjoyed every single moment of it… 🙂

    @Juliet ~ it's wonderful…

    @Sherry ~ happiness is a state of being…

    @Nick ~ I'm excited about the Overcoming Adversity book… my AtoZ is also dependent on audience response, but can still be pre-planned…

  29. tara tyler on February 11, 2013 at 3:47 am

    here's to another great week =)

  30. Kim Van Sickler on February 11, 2013 at 1:59 pm

    Happiness also doesn't mean that you will always be happy. Sometimes, in pursuing things that make you happy you have to travel through frustration, impatience, trouble-shooting, and a lack of self-confidence.

  31. Melissa Kinnel (@TizMellyMel) on February 11, 2013 at 3:56 pm

    Very productive!

  32. michelle on February 11, 2013 at 5:42 pm

    @Leslie Rose ~ thanks Leslie… hope you are well… have you signed up for the AtoZ this year?

    @Julie ~ organization is one way to make sure you don't get weighed down during the challenge, especially when you are nearing the end…

    @Lynda ~ thanks for the visit 🙂

    @Tara Tyler ~ definitely Tara… I'll toast to that 🙂

    @Kim ~ you are so right… that's the '"flip side of the coin".

    @Melissa ~ thanks for popping in.

  33. Charmaine Clancy on February 12, 2013 at 5:10 am

    I've seen this book posted a few times, will have to look into it. I think focusing on the small things and being thankful is a wonderful idea for a blog meme.

  34. Shannon Lawrence on February 12, 2013 at 5:14 am

    Congratulations on getting so much done! And yay for L. Diane!

  35. Nickie Anderson on February 12, 2013 at 1:43 pm

    I love reading new stories by my fellow bloggers! It's fun to have a bit of knowledge of the author before going into their stories.

  36. Meradeth on February 12, 2013 at 2:36 pm
