IT’S A WRAP …
Tomorrow , Jaz and I conclude the run of our exciting edutainment programme , which has been running for the past 3 weeks , in the open-air amphitheatre at our local Botanical Gardens .

We've had loads of fun , and my energy level has been challenged to the max . My physical fitness has definitely risen a notch or two after all the different activities that my poor muscles have been subjected to ! I had to sword fight , fall on the floor , run , dance and sing (yes , at the same time …) , colour-in and make paper boats . In between all this , I had to co-narrate the story , while checking on approximately 20 to 25 kids per show , assisting and encouraging them in their colouring-in activities , paper boat crafting and getting them to dance along with us during the show . Of course , the kids were accompanied by parents/grandparents , but we had to keep them entertained for the 1 hour and 20 minute duration of the show … and kids have a very short attention span …
So tomorrow , we are going to perform a special show for underprivileged kids from different organisations . There will be a mixture of able-bodied and physically challenged kids , while another group will be kids who suffer with life-threatening illnesses/diseases … There will be about 100 kids at tomorrow's show . I'm sure that it's going to be a unique , one-of-its-kind type of a show and I'm looking forward to the challenge !
Sounds like a lot of fun.
It definitely is lots of fun … and I get the opportunity to re-discover the child in me … 🙂
way to go! what a great way to spend your time!
performing for others and having fun too!
You’re so right ! It’s a blessing to be able have fun and get paid for it too … !
