Z is for Zen…

Welcome to your daily dose of inspiration:
In Darkness Be Light.

Since social media and news in recent times has been filled with so much hate and negativity, these simple reminders aim at promoting positivity and lightening up your day.

Zen :  Out beyond ideas of wrongdoing and right doing,
there is a field. I’ll meet you there.

When the soul lies down in that grass,
the world is too full to talk about.
Ideas, language, even the phrase “each other” doesn’t make any sense.  Rumi

Would you like to be a part of spreading positivity? Check out the We Are The World Blogfest, which aims at promoting positive news. Here’s the shortened version:

  • Keep your post to below 500 words, as much as possible.
  • All we ask is you link to a human news story on your blog on the last Friday of each month, one that shows love, humanity, and brotherhood. Something like this news, about a man who only fosters terminally ill children.
  • Join us on the last Friday of each month in sharing news.

Thank you to everybody who visited my blog during the A to Z Challenge.
I hope that you will be joining us on the last Friday of each month to spread positivity and light, via the We Are The World Blogfest!

Hi Michelle – I will be visiting monthly … just need to get April’s up … it’ll be early May as you will have gathered! Love that quote by Rumi … I’m going to make May my month of zenning out … finding some summer grass to lie down amongst and letting the world and its troubles float away for a while … cheers Hilary

I love that Rumi quote – it’s such a beautiful invitation. And a very good note on which to end the A-to-Z challenge.

I’ll continue to look forward to the #WATWB goodness – it’s such a wonderful thing.

So rightly said, there is no right way or wrong way..just the golden mid way! If we follow the mid way, we can have a win win situation where every one achieves something!
Good read as usual. A good choice of the thought to end the challenge with. Congratulations on completing the challenge!

I absolutely love that quote of Rumi’s. Thank you Michelle for an uplifting and thought provoking A-Z series. I wish this blogfest much success, there are things going on offline that make my blogging schedules a bit uncertain over the next few months, however, I am going to join up when things settle down

Congratulations on another year of success at the A-Z!

    Best wishes always,
    Nila.

It’s good to keep the positive message out in the world. Though I sometimes delve into controversial topics because they are reality, my goal is to look at the positives and try to get people to think on the positive side. It’s something that’s getting more difficult to do in our times.

Congratulations on finishing the 2017 Challenge! Thanks for being a part of it.
