T is for Tankobon
Ta-da! It's T-Day! Todays twisted thoughts are trapped in a tormented turmoil… a total tizz… tsk. tsk. tsk… thanks thus far for the tremendous tidbits, tall tales and tip-top theories that you've posted. Think positive! Triumph takes top place. Toodles!
Ever wondered what books would say if they had the chance to express themselves/air their views?
Well, you are about to find out!
All illustrations are by the talented Mary-An. Check out her website HERE
But wait! What is a tankobon? It is the Japanese term for a book that is complete in itself and is not part of a series. Go to WIKIPEDIA for more info…
And now you get to play along! What do YOU think the tankobon wants to tell us? Post it in the comment section below. Have fun!
At the end of the challenge, between 02nd and 05th of May, I'm going to announce my favourite "book comment" which will be the one that resonates with me the most!
A REMINDER: the IWSG site will have a corresponding post for each letter/day of the A to Z Challenge so do stop by.
On the Facebook page, a thread will be started for the "letter of the day" and we'd LOVE you to share your A to Z post links on the daily thread – this saves YOU time scrolling through links on the master A to Z sign-up list, especially since people post at different times… some MAY skip letters… dead links etc.
One last thing – don't forget to visit those who stop by your blog!
"I'm a loner." 😉
Hi Michelle .. but I'd add to SK's comment .. "but I cry …"
Cheers Hilary
I can stand on my own feet!
Tankobon. I learned a new word today. I did not know there was a word for a standalone book!
I'm CassaStar!
Even if there were sequels…
Your blog is just awesome and you are doing such a great work with this challenge. Loved all the t words 🙂

How long did you spend on your opening paragraphs? They’re amazing
Read me and your life will be complete
Tankoban says, "Don't take me to task for not treating you to twice or even triple the tale! I treat you to totality and a terminated timeline, not teasers that trail tension into a twin title or tedious trilogy."
Ugh, I repeated a T word. Allow me to rephrase:
Tankoban says, "Don't take me to task for not tempting you with twice or even triple the tale! I treat you to totality and a terminated timeline, not teasers that trail tension into a twin title or tedious trilogy."
"Cue my music please….Bump, bump. be, dump, dump…Bump, bump. be, dump, dump…I'm da man…I'm da man!"
I'm all you need, one serving. No agonizing wait for a sequel.
I think the book is telling me to think again before I think of giving up and it is thanking me for having come this far? Thanks Michelle and ISWG
"Out of my way, paperbacks! I'm a star!"
He's relishing the spotlight and thinking I'm a star!
Well, I might be a standalone, but I'm not really standoffish. Really, I'm not. Read me, you'll see. Deb@ http://debioneille.blogspot.com
