“And You Are…?” Blog Hop + Launch Day for Make Believe
Today is the ten-question blog hop, hosted by the two lovelies Emily and Tammy! Thank you ladies! This should be lots of fun… I'm eager to read some of the answers to these crazy questions.
These are the "And You Are…?" questions:
1. How many speeding tickets have you gotten? Only one. I have NO need for speed.
2. Can you pitch a tent? No. But I have perfect pitch… musical pitch. I can pitch from middle C up until the G or A. Does that count?
3. What was your worst vacation ever? To be honest, I can't remember having a really bad vacation…
4. What was the last thing you bought over $100? In your currency or mine? Dollars or rands? So 100$ equals how many rands? At the moment the exchange rate is sitting at approx. 8 rands for your 1 dollar. Then I'd have to go back and try to think, what was the last item I bought that cost… 800 rands? But that could have been years ago, when it was about 6 rands for your 1 dollar… the exchange rate fluctuates… I'm totally confused now!
5. We're handing you the keys to what? A time capsule which has been locked for the past 100 years…
6. What was the last meal you cooked that made even you sick? The terrible griping sensation in the pit of my tummy, that caused me to run to the loo on about three occasions last week, was definitely caused by a take-away curry that had passed its sell-by date… I didn't cook that day!
7. Fill in the blank: Oh my gosh! Becky, look at her butt! It is so big. She looks like ____? She could probably sit on Walmart and lower the prices…
8. What was your first car? She was a real beauty! There was no car like her… my precious TT! Yes, I was really attached to her, but alas, I had to let her go and move on… here's to the memory of my Toyota Tazz!
9. Your best friend falls and gets hurt. Do you ask if he/she's okay or laugh first? Probably be laughing out loud! Not laughing at her, mind you. Laughing with her, as we both land on our butts, as she reaches out to steady herself in the process, and takes me down with her! Did you really think she was going down alone? (I would have done the same thing…)
10. What's the worst song ever? Is this a trick question? Every song has a special meaning for somebody. Who says that your favourite song is the best? Is it because thousands of other people like it too? Because 10 000 people agree on something, does it make those 10 000 people right? And the 20 who disagree? Are they wrong? Think of it in this way, a bunch of 10 000 idiots… practising "herd mentality"? And now I'm totally off the topic(…bottom line, I don't have an answer for this question)
So there you have it folks. My contribution to this fun bloghop.

Christa can mask the pain and hide the scars, but running from a birthright is impossible.
She’s tried to escape her grief by fleeing to a small town in Florida. Much to her frustration, the locals think they recognize her even though she's never been there before. To make things worse, a man named Jack spouts outrageous theories about her.
Both spur Christa to bolt, to start fresh yet again, but there’s something about Jack that intrigues her enough to stay. The only problem? Someone else wants her to leave, and they won’t stop until she’s dead.

Seen Lynda all over today, her book sounds great. And I have to agree with Mina and Alex, your butt answer is by far the best! Hilarious! (:
Good answer for #5 and #7 made me laugh so hard, that's the best one I've heard yet 🙂
Thanks Alex, Mina, Elise and Jennie! I've never been to Walmart, but I've heard lots about the place… 🙂
A time capsule, what a great answer
Perfect pitch totally counts! And what is a Tazz? I must tell David to Google this car…
Okay, gottcha. 🙂
Thanks for playing along!
Loved your answers. Have a good day.
Lynda's book sounds great. And I love the time capsule idea–that would be so intriguing!! Also, loved your answer to #9: "Did you really think she was going down alone?" What a great friend you are! 😀

oh, and it's a shame you couldn't use your perfect pitch for pitching a tent 😉
and I literally laughed out loud at your answer to #7
Lynda, I'm so glad that I could help with the book launch! 🙂 A musical tent? Mmmm… it would be a first! LOL
So that's how Wal-Mart gets those low prices! Here I thought it was that smiley face doing all the hard work. A time capsule is a fun idea!
Hey Azara, I wouldn't really know… LOL… we don't have Walmart my side of the globe. Seems like the smiley face has been fooling everyone… 🙂
wow, walmart better watch out!! i think…you over thought…about thinking…about the thought…about the song answer! 😀
LOL! It's called babbling… or rambling… or something along those lines… thanks for hosting this cool bloghop, Tammy! I enjoyed it! 🙂
Very original butt answer! Also, I bow down to your mad avoiding answering the question skillz.
Shannon at <a href="http://thewarriormuse.blogspot.com/2012/12/and-you-are-baby-faces-blog-hops.html">The Warrior Muse</a>
The mad avoiding-answering-the-question-skillz kicks in when I am at a loss for words… 🙂
Okay, so…. I totally haven't laughed at ANYONE's number 7, but am dying with yours! Too funny. And my brother has perfect pitch! I have relative pitch—if someone plays a note on the piano, I can easily give it to them, but sometimes I'm a half step off when I just have to give the pitch myself. That, is too cool, Michelle. Loved your answers. 😀
Thanks Red-Head! 🙂
No, not the expired curry!
Yes, the same one! Seems you're familiar with it?
That is so cool that you have perfect pitch. I have excellent relative pitch. I think I'm getting better at naming the notes, though, so maybe it's possible to develop perfect pitch. I have a couple of students who have it, and it just amazes me that I can play chords, and they can identify all the notes of the chord without seeing what I play.
I'm sure you could easily develop it…? You probably have an excellent "ear"… you work with sound/pitch all the time… 🙂
I loved the time capsule and Walmart answers!
Thanks Carole 🙂
The curry I made last week made me ill. I think it was a reaction to one of the spices.
The older I get, the slower I drive.
There are so many different spices on the market… the digestive system doesn't always take too kindly to the different types… I suppose that driving does tend to slow down as we get older… and more cautious!
totally cracked me up!
conversion rates, song stats, walmart joke!
and my favorite, the perfect pitch!
Glad you enjoyed it TTT! I had a blast with these questions! 🙂
Love your answers! I love the creative spin your brain takes 🙂
Yay for Lynda & her story!!
♥ Merry Christmas! ♥
Thanks Jemi! Merry Christmas Lexa 🙂
